BUYER’S ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The Buyer may accept these terms and conditions in writing or by any conduct. Without limiting the effect of this clause, the Buyer is taken to accept these terms and conditions if the Buyer: (a) Orders goods from Western Histological (whether in writing, electronically, or verbally); or (b) Accepts delivery of goods from Western Histological.

PURCHASE ORDERS

Orders must be made formally (including an order number) by email

Orders that do not include a purchase order number or sufficient authorisation may be delayed until one is provided. Western Histological reserves the right to not fulfil orders if a purchase order is not provided.

PRICES

Catalogue prices are in Australian Dollars EX WORKS. Prices are reviewed from time to time and may change without notice.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices for Goods published or quoted by Western Histological are exclusive of freight and delivery costs, insurance and other charges in relation to the transfer of the product from the premises of Western Histological to the location that the Buyer designates.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

We endeavour to keep all advertised items in stock but availability of some items may be limited from time to time and sold on a first come basis. In this regard, we reserve the right to discontinue the offering of any product listed without notice or liability to the Buyer.

QUOTES

A quote for Goods listed on the website can be generated through the online catalogue or requested by email to enquiries@westernhistological.com.au detailing your requirements.

The online quote does not take into account any works or goods with specific requirements requested by the customer, or goods that are not listed on the website.  If you have a specific requirement, please contact us PRIOR to placing an order.

Postage, insurance and credit card transaction fees that may be applicable to the order will be in addition to the Goods Quote value.

Note: Provision of a quote does not guarantee availability of a product at a later date.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Postage for Prepared Slides Only:

Orders within Western Australia - $12 flat rate (price will rise to $14 from December 1, 2018)

Orders within all other Australian States and Territories - $16 flat rate (price will rise to $17 from December 1, 2018)

Orders that contain consumable items will require a quote for postage.

Goods are sent via Australia Post unless otherwise arranged. If you have an alternate preferred method of delivery, please discuss this with us PRIOR to placing the order.

Delivery times are subject to Australia Post constraints and whilst we use our best endeavours to have your order to you in your requested time frame, we have no control over any delays that may occur via this service once the order is with Australia Post. Western Histological will not be liable for any loss or damage arising as a result of or in consequence of any failure to deliver by any specified date.

Package and handling charges apply.

Personal collection of orders is not available.

INSURANCE

Postage insurance can be purchased via Australia Post. Please advise if you wish to purchase insurance at the time of placing your order. The value will be added to the invoice. Please refer to the Australia Post website for current insurance rates.

VARIATION BY BUYER

Should there be any variation in details, sizes and quantities, delivery instructions or any other item or matter on which the quotation or invoice for the sale of goods is based, Western Histological may amend the contract price in the quotation or invoice accordingly.

INVOICES

An invoice will be sent with goods or posted/emailed following delivery.

GST

Western Histological is not registered for GST and as such does not charge GST on its goods or services.

PAYMENT TERMS

Approved customers: Strictly within 14 days of invoice date.

New customers: Payment is required at the time of placing order unless otherwise arranged. Western Histological reserves the right to require payment in advance from the Buyer.

 PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment can be made by:

Direct Deposit (bank details are on the invoice);

Cheque; or

Credit Card. Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are accepted. Credit card transactions will incur a 2.5% merchant fee in addition to the final quote summary and insurance (if requested). Please advise us when placing your order if you intend to pay by credit card. The fee will be added to the invoice total and an invoice will be emailed to you along with a link to ‘Pay Invoice’. The link will redirect you to the Squareup.com/au website to complete the payment transaction.

MISSING / DAMAGED GOODS

Please check your order on arrival and advise us in writing (email preferred) within 7 days of any issues therein.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

The Buyer acknowledges that until payment in full for the Goods supplied is made, Western Histological remains the owner of the Goods supplied.

Western Histological shall be entitled at any time to demand the return of Goods if the Goods are not paid for by the due date stated on the invoice.

CUSTOMER SERVICE PRINCIPLE

Your feedback is always welcome and important for us to remain sensitive to your needs and to continue to improve our product and service offer. We respect the privacy of our customers and any personal information supplied via our online forms and other means will not be given, sold or traded and is only used for the express purpose of responding to customer enquiries or supply of Western Histological goods and services.

Other Important Information

Pictures shown on the website are indicative and general in relation to the product. Not all material is identical and as such there will be natural variances between what is shown and what is supplied.  If you are not sure if one of our products will be suitable for your needs, please contact us by email or phone to discuss the options available to you. Any description of the Goods delivered is given by the way of identification only and the use of such description shall not constitute a contract of sale by description. Items that have been purchased but do not suit your needs are non-returnable unless mutually agreed.
